Question
Do you think that it would be useful to try a course of CMO for enthesitis? A friend of mine that has this condition is being advised just to take ibuprofen. At the moment she has repeated bouts of enthesitis and bursitis.

Answer
Denise,

I am sorry to hear about your friend enthesitis is a very uncomfortable conditon. Enthesitis is an inflammatory conditon the effects the end of the tendons where they connect to the bones. Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) is a natural anti-inflammatory and may well help your friend. It is much safer than ibuprofen which is a very dangerous drug. With so many safer alternatives I am surprised any doctor recommends ibuprofen. If they were not working for the insurance companies instead of you I do not think they would.

Here are links to two of my articles on Cetyl Myristoleate.

Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to be effective as well at reducing inflammation.

I wish your friend the best.
