Question
My husband has severe knee pain has been addicted to pain medication for 6 years.  Going to see a rheumatologist today, which they will do blood work etc.  What are you doing for your arthritis?

Answer
Dear Shauna,   I have Osteoarthritis which is different from Rheumatoid arthritis in that this type of arthritis does NOT show up in any type of blood work....  It can only be diagnosed with having an MRI or the affected area....  I have pain and inflammation for which I take Tylenol X-strength and basically just live with it....

thank you,   karen
