RA and Fibromyalgia

Question
I was diagnosed about 9 months ago with Fibro.  I was also tested for RA (which my mother had) and my ANA was 0.7 and the Cedrate was 71.  I know the ANA is low but is there a chance that I do have RA.  My doctor will be done all week and no one at the office can explain anything.  With the Fibro and the deep aching feelings in my joints (especially my hips, knees, elbows and sometimes my fingers) I feel that I am on my way to having RA as well.  With these test results, should I consult a RA specilist as well?

Answer
I don't know if your test results show a chance of RA, but here's the good news.  You should be under the care of a rheumatologist for your fibromyalgia, and s/he would also be the person to diagnose and treat RA and other forms of arthritis.  I hope you can see a rheumatologist soon and get more information and answers to your concerns.
