Question
hi. i'm 27 yrs old, female, and i've got osteoarthritis. i suffer from nightly bouts of extreme pain in my left ankle, so severe that i can't sleep. i've tried every otc treatment i can find, plus creams and hot showers. i've also tried everything my doctor has given me, and while all these treatments work for a time, none are consistantly effective, w/even the creams and hot showers losing their effectiveness after a while, only to become effective again after i leave a particular one alone for a time. what can i do to be able to get a consistant good night's sleep?

Answer
Dear Kelly,   If you have not seen an Orthopedic Specialist, then I strongly suggest that you do and have that doctor give you a complete assessment of the damage that has been done to your ankle and let him/her prescribe a proper treatment and medication regimin...

thank you,   karen
