Hi,

I am 32 yr old female with 13month old child.
I have been sufferting from foot pain from 12 months.
i also got swollen index finger on right hand.
I have psoraisis from past 8 yrs.

today i sent to dr to rule out arthiritis.
blood test , x-ray are normal.
he looked at my finger and feet.
He said its "dactylitis" ?
Can you please dactylitis ? is it psoraitic arthirits ?
he is saying not because of your foot pain but your swollen finger reflects dactylitis ?
i am confused. Is is start of arthiris now?
please help me on this....

From what I read, dactylitis can be a symptom of psoriatic arthritis (as well as other conditions,) but only your doctor can tell you if that's what's happening with you.  I hope you have another appointment with him soon to get things more sorted out.
