Right hip/groin pain

Question
I am a 42 year old woman who has been experiencing ongoing right hip pain that is radiating into my right groin area.  I am experiencing this pain with walking, standing, and sitting as well as sleeping at night with the pain only a little bit reduced in the morning after resting but sleeping on the right side/right hip also causes pain.  I have been taking ibuprofen which is starting to cause stomach upset now.  I do not have insurance and am wondering what can I do to help alleviate the pain until I can get insurance to see an orthopedist.  Also, is it signs of arthritis or AVN that I am possibly experiencing?

The short answer is yes, it could be early signs of arthritis or AVN.  But I am not a diagnostician, nor a doctor.

I feel terrible that you do not have insurance, but clearly the only way to get a clear cut diagnosis is to see a doctor.
