Question
I fell off a flat bed trailer in may of 2005; I have tryed to work but am unable too; i did work 2 mos since jan 2006;
in 2007 i have filed for SSI (Disablity) i am unable to lift 20/30 lbs w/o extream pain in my back; I have knee- hip- back upper/lower pain ; disability wants me to go in for a lumbar X/ray; with a doc; that is not my doctor; is the X/ray going to show something that will make my chances to get DISABILITY; unlikely;  i do have pain in my back hard to get in an out of bathtub;walk up stairs; get in an out of a car; bend over;get up off the floor; i cant clime ladders anymore walk very far w/o pain; i am 56 yrs old; over weight 340 lbs 5ft6" tall;6th gtade educations;is their anything i need to no to better help my chances of not being denided;? thank you for ur answer i will go in for x-ray in 5days

X-rays are not something that you can prepare for; the X-ray will simply show the physical condition of your lower back.  With the pain and other symptoms that you've described, I would expect the X-ray will show damage.  Along with your other medical records since 1995, your case will be reviewed and they'll make a decision.

You'll probably be approved from the description of your condition.  However, if you are denied for whatever reason, you have the right to appeal it.  So don't worry because that won't really help anything.
