chronic back and hip pain

Question
I have chronic back and hip pain. I'm unable to sleep through the night constantly waking up. If I sleep on my right side my hip will slowly start going into pain. I'm unable to bend forward and pick anything up over 5lbs. On occasion I will be sitting , go to get up and my back will lock up if I try to walk I have to drag my right leg because I can't lift or bend it. If I sit back down slowly try to move at times it feels like something snaps and then I can get up.
I can't walk long distances without severe pain or stand for long periods.
The MRI showed that L-5 and L-4 discs are damaged (all black) I've had facet joint injections lumbar injections and nothing gets rid of the pain.
Would these problems with my back cause problems for my hip and can this be repaired via surgery?

Answer
This can be repaired via surgery. The disturbance in the geo rhythm might have  caused you this problem. Alternate to surgery try this method. just smear Indian ayurvedic oil "PINDA THAILA"  to the affected area in the night and do 3doem meditation for 5 minutes twice a a day using 3d oem chart. you can find the 3d oem chart in your local book store. more about 3d oem you can find at http://www.3doem.com
