Augmentative communication

Question
I was wondering if you knew anything about alternative/augmentative communication. My question is who can benefit from this type of communication?

Thank you for your help, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Answer
I am not a speech therapist, so this is just my opinion.

Some form of AAC is helpful for anyone who has difficulty with 'unassisted' communication. I've seen it work with people with poor breath control, paralysis, developmental disabilities, and much more.

If you have a more specific question, I might be able ot help more.
