Question
I have moderate C5-6 disc herniation with medully compression, MS,Diabetes, Osteoarthritis, Hypothyroidism, and Sleep apnea... I am 45 years old, female & overweight. Had a pin put in right knee. My question is would these conditions shorten my lifespan and  qualify for permenant disability.

Answer
hi ellen     my best advise to you would be to find a lawyer who specializes in social security disability (they advertise in the yellow pages) and set up a free consultation. they also work on about a 20-25% contingency basis so you wouldn't have to pay unless they get your disability benefits approved. i hope this helps.  thanx for writing - tami
