Question
what are these reading glasses u talk about?are they helpful in enabling a person read from normal distace (in cases of high myopia)? I HOPE THEY ARE NOT SOME KIND OF TELESCOPIC DEVICE OR SOME MAGNIFYING STUFF  THAT WOULD LOOK AWFUL ON THE EYES.is it the like those glasses that old ppl use after presbyopia sets in?

Answer
Reading glasses come in all kinds of magnification. You can buy them at any pharmacy. Old people use them, as well as young people. They are simply glasses to make the print sharper. With your vision, you may need to specially order a pair, from an eyeglass place, or your doctor. You will probably need a stronger magnification than they sell in the pharmacy's. But go and try it, to see what works for you.

I understand that you are young, and your image is very important to you. But you have to ask yourself what is more important...is it better to do whatever it takes so you can get the best vision from your eyes...or would you rather seriously limit yourself to keep from looking uncool and being embarrassed?

You were given a life to live, and part of that life involves dealing with low vision...but the moment you let it take control of you, rather than you having control over it, is the moment you begin limiting yourself and holding yourself back. The world around you moves on, whether you wear big glasses or not. Don't let your vision keep you from living.
