Do you know anything about SSI?  I have some friends on SSI whom I don't think they need to be.  Can you tell me can they get off SSI?

I can answer your question, but I need to know a little more about your question.  Are your friends on SSI Supplemental Security Income or SSDI Social Security Disability Income?  And when you say they do not need to be on it, do you mean they are not disabled or that they are gainfully employed?

If the individual does not want to receive or is ineligible for SSI they can simply call Social Security and asked to be removed.
