Pain in left hip, back and arm sensation

Question
I have been having severe pain in my left hip off and on for 6 weeks the pain is now worse.  My back mainly lower hurts and laast night I started having a strange sensation with feels like numnbness in the right arm and some tingling in the fingers.  The hip pain is a knifing type pain. I do have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and sleep apnea, I am overweight.  What could be going on that would cause such hip pain, I do not have insurance so I have not been to a doctor yet.

Answer
wow, this could be anything at this point.  The most likely area to look at for an answer would be in your neck, but it sounds like you have several problems.

A good chiropractor is trained to rule out spinal issues from medical issues and I would highly recommend that you see one as soon as possible, but if the numbness progresses, a trip to the Emergency room is in order.
As for the insurance, most chiropractors offer introductory screenings for little money, call and find out what is possible in your area, but don't let this continue as it will only get worse, which usually equals more expensive.  Preventative chiropractic care is the best bargain on the planet, so far!

Good luck,

Dr P
