-----Question-----
What is the best natural remedy for uterine fibroids????? Which teas and natural herbs are best for uterine firoids?
-----Answer-----
Dear Sandy,

My apology for the delayed response.  My internet has been down and unable to log on to attend to all questions.  Each question is very important to me to do my best to provide the appropriate information.

There are no one type of herb to treat uterine fibroid.  However, acupuncture couple with prescribed Chinese herbs can manage the condition.  This is best accomplished by visiting an Acupuncturist who also practices Chinese herbs or go to dual practitioners.  The condition is quite complicated and must require an examination with proper combination of certain herbs customized to your constitution and condition as everyone is different.

Answer
Dear Sandy,

I did not mean to be vague or unhelpful in my previous response.  What I wanted to say is that there are various causes to uterine fibroid and the the result is seen as the formation of the fibroid itself.  Different causes will require different combination of herbs to treat the root of the problem.  For example, if the uterine fibroid is caused by blood stagnation in your body, various herbs that help to stimulate the blood circulation will be given.  An example is San Qi, Chuan Xiong, Dang Gui, and/or Hong Hua along with other herbs.  However, if the the cause is due to dampness accumulation in your body, then different herbs will be appropriate to treat the fibroid.  These herbs would include Ban Xia, Mu tong and Tong Cao along with other herbs in combination.

This is the reason why I suggest to visit an Acupuncturist who can properly diagnose the cause of the fibroid in order to give you the right herbs.

I hope that is a bit more clear.
