Question
I have this twitching on my thumb on my right hand for the past few days, ive also feel there is a strain on the right side of my neck/back of my head I have no pain in this area but it feels kinda numb, any ideas what this is?

Answer
Mark,

This is not enough information for me to really help you, but you may likely have two separate things: a neck with fatigued or strained muscles for one, and a wrist/thumb problem for another.  Anything from your neck to your thumb can cause thumb symptoms, including a disc protrusion in your neck, or a nerve compression in your arm.  The twitching is not likely related to anything.  You're best to give it another day or two, and if things are not right, then obtain a consultation with a chiropractic physician.

'Hope this was helpful,

Dr. G
