Constant Clicking Elbow

Question
For the past several years, whenever I fully extend my elbow and bend it back (regardless of the angle) my elbow will let out a loud, painful click.  I approached my doctor about it approximately over a year ago, and she disregarded it, saying that I will probably just develop arthritis.  It hurts pretty badly, and my elbow feels constantly stiff.  It has gotten worse as time goes on, and I was wondering what it could possibly be and what would the appropriate actions I should take.

Answer
Rose, great question. The advice given to you is lousy. You'll develop arthritis if you don't fix the problem. The elbow joint , like
any other joint in the body has a proper structural alignment to it. When that alignment is disrupted due to an injury, repetitive stress injury(elbows on desk all day), slip and fall, or even a weak muscle (either extensor or flexor)
if your in NYC look me up. If you are outside of Ny you need to find a sports chiropractor, possibly a good ortho that does manipulation (good luck finding one)
you may find that the C.C.S.P (certified chiropractic sports physician) has a website with certified doctors all over the country. This type of chiro will know exactly  What to do and you may need cold laser to reduce swelling.
