back neck and tailbone pain

Question
I was treated for subluxations of the middle and upper back and neck. It seemed to help a lot. Lately it seems to be severe pain when walking in my back and neck. just holding my head up seems to be a lot of work as it hurts a lot. could the subluxations be back or do these not really go away? also 3 months ago I had a long car ride and meeting and my tailbone started hurting and it hasn't stopped since. what would cause this? I figure if it was the ride after 3 months it would have disappeared. also I go the gym, what would be best to do there so I can still get my exercise. while walking on the treadmill I seem to almost fall over. its nothing medically causing this. should I be concerned? I started seeing the chiro bc of severe headaches and those too are back. what can I do to ease the tailbone pain

Answer
Lorrie,

It sounds like you haven't seen your chiropractor since the the long car ride. I would suggest going back to him and getting checked for subluxations. It may be a good idea to get some x-rays done to see the structure of your spine and find out what is causing your discomfort. Simple things we do on day to day life will cause subluxations in the spine ex. getting out of your car the same way every day, or sitting for long periods. Start with going back to your chiropractor. He/she should be able to get you on the right path if this is something else other than subluxations.

Hope this is helpful.
