Question
I have been experiencing a few strange symptoms for the past 3 months.  These include tingling in the back right side of my neck, mild tickling feeling in my right cheek and lightheadedness.  Could these all be linked to chiropractic neck manipulation?  I have been receiving chiropractic treatment since I was about 6.  I am now 31.

Answer
In a word, yes.

Sounds like a nerve impingement.  Generally, these results from entrapment of a nerve by tight muscles.

Chiropractic creates a sudden stretch of muscles, which triggers the stretch (myotatic) reflex that tightens muscles back up.

That's why people end up getting chiropractic treatment for a lifetime.
