Question
I am reading an MRI report and frankly I am scared. The report says I have "C4-5 uncinate spurring with minimal formation compromise" Please explain this to me.

Answer
Nisha,
You basically have degeneration in the joint which is caused by misalignments in your spine.  The body will form extra bone to try to create stability in the joint and this is the uncinate spurring that you have going on.  If you want it gone it can be gone, you do not need surgery, what you need is a good chiropractor that knows how to help you.  You will be ok, if you follow my recommendations, because if you do not, it will most likely get worse and then you may get so bad that you will require surgery, which is not a good thing with an even worse outcome.
