How does Orthopedics relate to Physical Therapy???

Orthopedics: The branch of medicine that deals with the prevention and correction of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments. (American Heritage Stedman's Medical Dictionary)

Some physical therapists (like myself) specialize in the examination and treatment of musculoskeletal system, hence orthopedics.  The American Physical Therapy Association has a board certification in orthopedics (OCS).
