Question
Hello  I don't know if you can help me or not I had a situation in my home town Will we could not use the water Becuase a chemical spilled into are water I forgot and used the water But my hand probaly under the water for a minute  Then i  pour a bottle water on it  the next day My hand burn red  bister  on my palm   Went to the doctor he gave me steroid cream and that  dry the bister up it been  6 months  But i  still have swellling in my palm And i have been back to 2 other doctors The last one was a orthopedic And he did xray  and said i  had a deep tissue injury No nerve damage could be start of carpel tunnel or something elese Said to take aleve advil for pain And it should go away in 2 to 3 months It been 5 months Still no answer it from the water  or chemical I'm intersted if you know anything elese  i could do Or if deep tissue  could be a burn cause this  I stil have the swelling in my palm Thank you

This sounds very odd. You would not get CTS from what you described. You cannot diagnose carpal tunnel from x-ray...it's typically based on your clinical picture from history & exam and more definitive test is nerve conduction studies / EMG.I would see an infectious disease specialist but a home remedy would be to soak your hand in something like warm epsom salt solution a couple of times a day for 5 to 10 minutes for about a week and see if that clears it up
