Question
Dear Sir,

I am Bishnu Kumar Shrestha from Nepal, My father had keen problem since 1999, He had very pain in both leg keen. He using always pain killer medicine but no effect. and many time he check by doctor but no body can find any problem. can u advice me what we do next.

Hi Bishnu,

Has your father had both knees x-rayed? I would suspect he has at this point if not that would have to be done right away. Have they all ruled out osteoarthritis of the knees?

I would also recommend that he get an MRI of the area along with his back to make sure the pain is not being referred from another area if all the above has been completed.

I do not know how many doctors he has been to but, make sure they are specialists in the area of orthopedics. A general practitioner will not do much about it other then refer him to a knee specialist. Let me know if that has been done.
