Question
Doctor was talking about performing a range of motion test.  This particular test was called paramital (phonetic) compression test.  The doctor is apparently guiding the patient's head in a downward position.

I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find what this could possibly be.  If you could help, that would be great.  Thanks

It is not clear that you are talking about a chiropractic experience as such a test was developed within the medical profession, however, relying simply on your description and the phonetic approximation you give, it may be that the test you are wondering about is the "foraminal compression" test.
