i will soon get a procedure done like Putting cement between the vertabra thatis fx..i think lumbar area..what i'd like to know will this help my being unsteady on my feet?

well, it depends on what was causing your unsteadiness.  If it was due to a nerve being pinched or pressure from a herniated disc then I'd think it would help.  

Sorry that is a bit vague, but it's hard to say more without knowing what the cement is supposed to be treating.
