Question
Hi!
I've recently moved and while I have seen a chiropractor for years, the one I've seen here seems very different.  He took no xrays and only asked where it hurts.  Each time I go, he adjusts just about everything that can be adjusted.  He adjusts my neck 2 or 3 times at each visit as well an adjustment I've never had.  He pulls my neck (head) in a way that seems to pop my back all the way down to my very lower back.  I just wonder what you think of this.
Thanks
Sherry

Answer
The best way to address this is to let you know that every chiropractor is different. We all use a unique, personal combination of techniques that are learned as we go through school, as well as continuing education throughout practice.

If you like the doc you're seeing now, despite the differences, then stay there as a patient. If you don't like his (for lack of a better word) "style", find another chiropractor! Because our profession is so hands on, you really have to find a doctor you like and trust with your health...that you feel comfortable with.
