Question
QUESTION: a year ago i was bench pressing, the morning after i couldnt move n my neck
n back were locked....after that i stedyally got better, then all of a suden ive
had cronic neck and back pain  for the last 7 months

i have been to everyone, chorioractors, who help but on ly for a few days,
physical therapists, they tell me that my body is off kilter beaucse my head is
strained to far foward maybe due to the injury, it hurts when sit to long or
most anything

its really ruining my life ....they have done x rays and say everything is fine
but i am still hurting bad.

ANSWER: Hello Luke,

   You may want to have a MRI scan.  X-ray only shows the bones, you may have injured the disc, facet, soft tissues in or around the spine.  MRI will show the aforementioned and any nerve impingement.  If your experiencing muscle weakness and loss, you will want to be seen asap!

this is what ive thought but numorious docotors tell me that its soft tissue
and i do not need an mri scan


i went to my physical therapist this morning and she told me that my posture
is bad and i need to see a spine doctor.  Everyone keeps tellig me this is not
forever and i will get better through therapy but im jsut not seeing results

Hey Luke,

  You may want to see a Doctor of Chiropractic who specializes in Sport/Soft tissue injuries.  They will have a greater understanding of your condition.  Almost every Doctor of Chiropractic has there National Physical Therapy license(required in Chiropractic school, at least in the U.S.).  A MRI will rule out any other cause, get a new doctor and have them refer you in for one!
