Back pain & blood in the feces

Question
I have recently been experiencing chronic lower back pain (lower lumbar region, mostly left side) and aching in the bone (about the middle of my glutes - left side also).  I had something similar in November. I went to a DO and after 45 minutes of manipulations, I felt much better after that.  4 days ago, I reinjured the same area.  However, what I'm now worried about is that for the past 3 days I've been spotting and on the 5 day since the injury, I used the restroom and the toilet water was very red (bloody) after a bowel movement.  Is the back pain related somehow to bloody stool?

Answer
I would suggest first and foremost, see your family physician immediately.  Blood in the feces is usually not a good thing.  Is it related to your back?  Possibly, but I would suggest you see your PCP first to rule out any other problems.  As an aside, 45 minutes of manipulations seems a bit excessive.
