Question
Hi there, I have paresthetica meralgia, carpal like symptoms and numb hands literally walking me up all night. right hand  first three digits and the left hand pinky and ring finger. bilateral tennis elbow and bilateral golfers elbow. Strangely enough my elbows at the bottom look as if they are turning up. It is not the soft tissue part but rather the bottom of the bone now pointing upwards. I also have chronicplantar fascitis.I have had some adjustments and my neck is only a little bit easier. I also have throacic outlet syndrome. Can you possibly advise me what the below xray results mean and if it could be causing my inability to rise from a chair? I also have difficulty walking upstairs.
Thanks so much
Kind regards
Kind regards.
found some vague neurological weakness of her
bilateral deltoids, triceps, wrist and finger flexors, finger extensors, tibialis
anterior, hamstring and gluteus maximus. Her reflexes were slightly reduced at
C7 and S1. All other neurological tests were normal. Orthopaedic testing was
positive for radicular encroachment bilaterally in the cervical spine. All cervical
range of motion was limited at the initial examination, lumbar range of motion
was normal.
Spinal imaging demonstrated a significant degenerative retrolisthesis at L5/S1
and some minor anterolisthesis at L4/5. There may be some stenosis at C5/6
which may be causing some of the neurological symptoms in her upper thighs
and her neck in my opinion.

Answer
Joyce,
I would like to answer by answering in Capital letters between sentences. I hope this helps you.

found some vague neurological weakness of her
bilateral deltoids, triceps, wrist and finger flexors, finger extensors, tibialis
anterior, hamstring and gluteus maximus.

THE MUSCLES MENTIONED SEEM WEAK TO RESISTANCE. THIS OCCURS IN SEVERAL  CONDITIONS

Her reflexes were slightly reduced at
C7 and S1.

YOUR REFLEXES ARE NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE OR SHOULD BE.

All other neurological tests were normal.

THIS IS A GOOD SIGN AND RULES OUT A LOT OF NEUROLOGICAL PROBLEMS

Orthopaedic testing was positive for radicular encroachment bilaterally in the cervical spine.

THIS MORE THAN LIKELY REPRESENTS PINCHED NERVES IN YOUR NECK AND THE PINCHED NERVES ARE SENDING PAIN DOWN THE NERVE PATHWAY

All cervical range of motion was limited at the initial examination, lumbar range of motion
was normal.

YOUR NECK IS RSTRICTED IN MOVEMENT. YOUR LOWER BACK HAS FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

Spinal imaging demonstrated a significant degenerative retrolisthesis at L5/S1

THE L5/S1 VETEBRA WHICH IS THE LOWEST VERTEBRA IN THE LOWER BACK IS ARTHRITIC AND IT HAS MOVED BACKWARDS FROM IT'S NORMAL POSITION

and some minor anterolisthesis at L4/5.

THE L4/5 VERTEBRA IS MOVING FORWARD OF THE L5/S1 VERTEBRA THESE TWO ITEMS REPRESENT INSTABILITY OF THE LOWER LUMBAR SPAINE AND ARE MORE THAN LIKELY PAIN PRODUCING.

There may be some stenosis at C5/6 which may be causing some of the neurological symptoms in her upper thighs and her neck in my opinion.

THE CANAL IN YOUR CERVICAL SPINE OR NECK IS SMALLE R THAN SHOULD BE AND MAY BE CAUSING YOU THE SYMPTOMS THAT WERE MENTIONED PAIN AND OR NUMBNESS IN THE UPPER THIGHS AND NECK.

i DON'T SPECIFICALLY CONCUR WITH THE RADILOGIST OPINION FROM WHAT LITTLE INFORMATION i HAVE TO GO ON. i HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GET TO A CHIROPRACTOR FOR A CHIROPRACTIC WORK UP.

Let me know if I can do anything else for you.
Sincerely,
Dr John Quackenbush
