Wrist and Hand Pain

Question
Good evening and Thank you for taking the time to read this and give me some idea on what to do or where to go.  This may be long, it all determines on what I can put in.

Just over 6 years ago I was coming off a porch in the winter and fell on an outstretched right hand and arm.  At first the pain was not that bad but since I was also cut open by ice I went into the Walk in and they did preliminary tests.  Nothing broken, nothing further.  That was 6 years ago and nothing has really changed, I still have severe pain in my right wrist. (I have had broken bones and never needed pain killers, today I take up to 4 Percocet a day)  In the 6 years of pain, I have seen a total of 7 doctors, the original doctor I saw I still see today.  I would love to get another opinion but every high end ortho dr I try and see will not see me due to the history.  Sorry getting ahead of myself.  In the 6 years of pain, I have tried dozens of different scripts, braces, and therapies.  I have had dozens of xrays (all negative), an MRI (inconclusive), an EMG (normal), and now two different surgeries.  4 Years ago I had a first compartment release (DeQuervins) which did nothing but make the pain worse, and 18 months ago a fusion of the STT joint to try and control the pain.  This also has done nothing for me as the pain in my hand the ability to use it continues to deteriote.  At this time, the ortho dr does not have any options for me, he states it is nothing more then simple tendonitis.  So as for now I am in limbo seeing a pain doctor every month, who actually is trying to help and we recently did a tendon Tenomoty which helped for a very brief time, and is looking at doing Plasma Injections.  I have had a broken knee, hip, forearm, kidney stones, gout, but nothing comes even close to the pain I feel everyday, and the severity of when I use my hand for simple processes, ESPECIALLY writing and gripping.

I am at my wits end.  I have lifetime medical from the WC case, but it seems that other doctors do not want to get involved since I have had surgery already.  I have recently started sending out requests to National organizations.  All I want to do is have a hand that doesn't hurt so much everyday. I can live with some pain, but not at this level.  I have done so much research but nothing seems to point to what has not been "ruled out".

Sorry this was so long.  Again anything, any help, any ideas would be appreciated.  My worse pain is writing and movement up at the wrist and in toward the thumb.  I have had some numbness (rare) and my grip strengths are about 20% of normal.  Typing and palpation of the area does not seem to worsen the pain.

Thank you for all your time.

Answer
once you have surgery , let alone 2 of them that chanfges the ball game. it will be very hard to diagnose because i have no idea what those surgeons did or didn't do. bottom line is you have a lot of scar tissue. i would NOT get another operation. i would try cold laser therapy  on you. makes sure you go everyday for 3 weeks straight. you may need about 15 sessions and possibly another round of 15 after a month off frominitial treatments of laser.
its worth a shot and i have 2 lasers and found them to be extremely helpful in post surgery cases. many chiropractors have laser (google it in your area) alsdo called low level laser therapy.
