range of motion not regain after knee replacement
9/26 8:40:16

Question
I had a total knee replacement done on 12-14-11 and a knee manuipulation done on 2-1-12.  I still have not regain full range of motion yet.  I am at 30% on the range of motion.  It feels like the knee is stuck and can not bend past the 30% mark.  It was like this before and after the manuipation which was done on 2-1.  What can I do to regain full range of motion in my knee?

Answer
Hello Juliana,

You may want a doctor of Chiropractic in your area who performs Active Release Technique or Myofascial Release Technique, they both are intense deep tissue techniques which help reduce muscle tension, scar tissue, and restore mobility.  The deep tissue work should be performed above and below the knee to encompass all the musculature that surrounds the knee.

Have a great day,
