Answer
Dear Daniel,

I am sorry that you are having such trouble with your neck.  If your medical doctors are anything like the medical doctors here in the United States, I will try and translate what they are telling you:

1) Orthopedic doctor, after x-rays said: "you don't have any problem."  What this means is that you don't have a fracture or dislocation, and you don't have any tumor that can be seen with a simple x-ray.  This does NOT mean that you are not having pain.  This does not mean that you don't have any problem. It simply means that the x-ray is negative for fracture, dislocation, and pathology.  You cannot see EVERYTHING that can be problematic in the neck with a simple x-ray study.  Even a CT or MRI will not show you everything, although an MRI might be your next best study.

2) Your neurologist also told you that there is nothing wrong.  What this means is that you do not have neurological issues that are evident during evaluation.  In other words, no sign of stenosis, peripheral neuropathy, or spinal/brain tumor. Again, this does not mean that there is no cause for your symptoms.  It just means that he/she did not have an answer for you. Most of the time, neck pain is caused by functional problems, not pathological issues.

As I stated above, perhaps your next best step is to insist that an MRI of the C spine be performed.  This will help to rule out ligament, disc, and other soft tissue issues.  If you find that the MRI is negative as well, this is a good sign.  If the MRI is negative, your next step is a chiropractor because you are probably experiencing pain because of abnormal function of spinal segments and supporting muscles.  Medication will not take care of this type of problem. Another option, if there is no chiropractor, would be a good physical therapist.  Some of these will also perform spinal manipulation techniques.

Good luck with finding a solution for your problem. I hope that what I have said is beneficial in helping you to re-think this problem, and find your own solution.
