Question
i have had surgery for carpel tunnel in july 2008 since then i have had pain the doctor sent me for a mri scan it has come back showing i have bruising on the bone what has caused that

Answer
Lorraine,
Typically it is from some type of inury or trauma to the bone.(you don't say what bone) Bone is hard but it is still living tissue so it can bruise. Did you fall on hand/wrist?..not a lot to do for that other than time and NSAIDs. I wouldn't think the typical CTS surgery would have anything to do with it? You may find relief with professional ice/heat wrist wraps used daily.
