Question
QUESTION: How is it possible to spinal stenosis, DDD and bulging disks and 1 1/2 years later this is what it says: lumbar intervertebral discs appear unremarkable and stable. No focal disc herniation is identified. No central canal or foraminal stenosis is present. The lumbar facets appear stable. The region of the distal conus is unremarkable. The lumbar vertabral bodies appear relatively stable in alignment and marrow signal characteristics.

I just don't understand how that is possible.  Am I reading it wrong?

Thank you in advance for your time!
Debi

ANSWER: Debi,

QUESTION: I was in a car accident back in Sept of 2000 which triggered RSD, which took several years to diagnose then in 2006 they added the spinal stenosis, DDD and bulging disks. I am in pain 24/7. I just don't understand how you can have something one year and not the next!  Thanks again in advance.
Sincerely
Debi

ANSWER: Debi,
First of all, it is possible to have all of those problems clear up and normalize, in our clinic we see that occur on a fairly regular basis.  However, this is under Upper Cervical Specific Care that is geared solely at correcting the interference at the brainstem level and giving the innate intelligence of the body the best possible chance of restoring proper function in all the cells of the body.  It is highly unlikely that the body would just spontaneously heal up from all of these problems without any specific care.  It is possible that this may have happened even though it is against nearly all odds that this did occur.
Instead of getting too far into details, you should probably have the information looked at from another doctor of the before and after pictures.  That would give you more insight as too what was actually happening with you.  If that was indeed the case it would be the first that I have heard of as a completely spontaneous healing without intervention of any kind.
Is it possible that you hit your head or had some sort of minor head or neck injury that may have sparked the healing?
Regardless of those circumstances, you are in a great deal of pain right now, which tells me that you have a problem in the body.  You need to be evaluated by a doctor that can detect and correct the cause of your problem and not treat symptoms.
I can locate a good doctor for you if you would send me your town and state in a reply to this email.
I would love to see your films before and after, your case sounds quite interesting.

QUESTION: Thank you very much for answering so quickly!  I was not sure if you knew what RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy)was or not...but that seems to be how everything started.  I was quite healthy before the accident.  I live in Auburn, Indiana very close to Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Also was curious if you knew anything about sub-centimeter pineal recess cysts?  As I also had an MRI of the brain.  Which also says flow void present within the carotid and basilar arteries suggesting patent vessels. I figure it must not be anything to worry about or the doctor would've called me by now. Right?
Thanks again in advance for your time,
Debi

Answer
Debi,
Cysts in the brain, no matter how small is not a good thing.  Many times the Medics will wait until it grows into something that can be a problem and then try to remove it.  You seem like a very detailed case that I would love to take on personally but I may have a few doctors that I could recommend to you who would probably be much closer for you as I am in St Louis, MO.
Please, go and see one of these Doctors so that you can begin to get well, it is of the utmost importance:

Dr Shawn Carver is in southern Ohio (just north of the West Virginia border), Dr Robert Kessinger is in Cape Girardeau, MO, Dr Bruce White is in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Dr Jason Runyon is in Ashland Kentucky.  These are all very competent and qualified doctors that I highly recommend.  Please tell me which Doctor you would like to visit so we can get this underway.  Even though they may be far of a trip, your health is certainly worth it.  This specific care seems to attract people from all over, as we have almost 10% of our patients from over an hour away and a handful of patients from other states.  With this type of specific care your careplan can be adjusted to cater to your long drives, your doctor of choice can discuss this further with you or I can explain it further to you if you wish.
