Question
I had a mri and the report conculsion was a high grade bilateral neural foraminal stenosis.  My question is this serious as I get severe pain down my right leg and numbness in both feet.

Answer
HI Dennis,
Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to write to me. So firstly, I am truly sorry to hear about your pain down your leg. We call this Sciatica: Please click on the link to learn more:

Sciatica can be serious and as you know intimately the pain can be unrelenting.  The question really becomes how does one even consider to deal with this pain.  In your case you are suffering from a high grade bilateral neural stenosis. If this is caused by degenerative disc disease then it is possible you may be a candidate for non-surgical spinal decompression.  Some other forms of care for this pain can include chiropractic care, physical therapy, drug therapy and in some cases surgery.  My recommendation is to see if you qualify for non-surgical spinal decompression as it is often likely a better option than surgery as it has no serious risks and at least in my clinic has offered outstanding results. Just recently I finished treating a senior citizen who had suffered for more than 15 years with sever back and sciatica pain and had to use a walker as a result. She is now completely pain-free and doesn't use a walker! Please let me know how you do.
Can you please also take a moment out to rate my answer and consider to nominate me as expert of the month.

Good luck for now Dennis,
