Spinal decompression option

Question
I recently had an MRI and just received the radiologist report.  I have suffered back pain for years and previously had partial disk removed.  I wondered if spinal decompression is an option for me.
The radiologist findings were as follows; old benign compression of T-12. Disk desiccation at L4-5 & L5-S1.  Intervertebral disk space narrowing, spurring, & osteophyte formation at L5-S1.  Mild disk bulging at L4-5.  Radial tear involving posterior L4-5 disk on right.  There is bilateral facet hypertrophy at this level. Marked impingement on the bilateral lateral recesses. Moderate diffuse disk bulging at the L5-S1.  Severe impingement upon bilateral lateral recesses.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration of my question.

Sincerely,

Ronny

Answer
Toronto Back Pain Treatment patients ask me this question regularly Ronny.
Ronny, I am truly sorry to hear about your suffering. I understand you are from Florida. I am currently attending a 3 day international conference with my peers of world experts to learn more about how to help people exactly such as yourself. Ironically I'm in Orlando as I am writing this to you.

To answer your question to see if spinal decompression is an option for you - the answer is a qualified possibly. I have successfully treated many patients who have suffered with failed post surgical discectomies with a modified procedure called the High Performance Healing System.  To be sure if decompression may be an option for you you will have to provide your doctor with your MRI and attend a very thorough examination.  I regularly have patients come to my clinic from across the world to be considered for my procedure.  We are experiencing breakthrough successes.

Please note that If you have underwent a fusion in addition to the discectomy then you would not be a candidate.

I strongly recommend that you visit my site at www.backclinicsofcanada.ca to learn more about the approach. There is excellent content including videos and pictures to help inform you.

Ronny, I truly wish you a complete and speedy recovery,
Can you please also take a moment out to rate my answer and consider to nominate me as expert of the month,
Thanks,
Dr. Ron Nusbaum
