Question
I am currently doing some graphic design work for LIFE Inc. I wanted to design a series of posters conveying the concept that those with disabilities live equal lives and have equal goals but have a different series of methods to reach them. I don't want to create a poster that just reflects the problems that those with disabilities are faced on a day to day basis which  many do not understand. I want this message to uplifting and positive. In researching the subject of disabilities, do you have any suggestions on what to look for or any of your own advice concerning the matter?
Thanks for your time,
Danielle

Answer
My goodness...this was a very good question...a bit out of the realm of my specialty but I have a couple og ideas.

* How about a poster showing the disabled participating in Special olympic events?

* Show individuals with disabilities out for the day or evening with a group of friends dining out or shopping.

* If you did a bit of research there was recently a series of protests held by the disabled because they are being denied their right to access courthouses.  I'm sure there are some news clips you could peruse.

I don't know if this helped any.  Good luck on your task.
