Question
My daughter wrote: MS is based on inflammation in the body which is caused by the poor conductivity of the mylin sheath.

She has MS.  In talking about the issue of circulation I remembered a dr. Mouldan(sp) video on vaccines and their effects. His evidence showed that many different diseases were only the symptoms, not the disease itself.

This was confirmed by photos of many different patients with different diseases, but ALL had two common symptoms. These are the sypmtoms that most people on the street associate with stroke.  ALL these people had eyes out of line and a corner of their mouth turned down.  Infants showed these same signs after having their usual brace of shots.
The Dr.'s diagnosis was that the vaccines had caused blood flow problems in the brain and these people were having mini-strokes.  These mini-strokes were damaging certain parts of the brain and the damage was manifesting itself as symptom of certain diseases.  But no matter the general symptoms, ALL the patients had the bad eye and the down mouth.  It was pretty amazing.
My daughter has said that she came on MS not long after she received a triple vaccine before entering college.  After the onset, she said she suspected a connection.

Here's a thought, I replied. How much does the brain have to do with making/maintaining that sheath?  The blood flow problem in the brain messes with the part of the brain that keeps eyes straight and the corners of the mouth turned up.  so, it's not the vaccine itself that causes those symptoms. It's poor brain function.  Hmmm.  Now I'm wondering what a brain scan would turn up. If a person has a stroke, their brain gets damaged, right?  so, if they did a scan, they could see that.  Not that this would facilitate a "cure", but it sure would confirm certain things.

QUESTION: Can brain damage cause poor conductivity of the mylin sheath, thereby promoting inflammation?

Thank you.

Answer
Dear Jack,

I would like to answer this question but it is not as simple as a yes or a no answer. I do believe that your daughter's theory of a vaccine causing the demylenation/inflammation has some teeth to it. Can I say this is exactly the cause, no I can't, but no one else can say that the vaccine absolutely did not cause the trouble. I have a tendency to lean towards the vaccine idea.

Vaccines are still causing a myriad of health issues on their hosts or those that have been vaccinated. I doubt very much we will ever truly understand this modern scourge to it's fullest extent because it is a money maker for both the drug companies as well as the general practitioners who pedal it.

I have to also say that you also have a good point because the human body is capable of just about anything and although I cannot say that unequivocally that brain damage always causes the myelin sheath to become inflamed. In our society today with all the toxins and pollutants that we are exposed to, antibiotics, hormones and an unending plethora of foreign substances we eat, drink and bath in. This fact alone has caused millions of unsuspecting people to suffer from leaky gut syndrome and or leaky brain syndrome. These "leaky gut and BBB syndromes allow particulate matter, that the normal healthy gut and blood brain barriers usually filter out, actually gets passed through and ultimately wreak havoc with all sorts of physiological and hormonal pathways that can also cause inflammation. The worst such inflammation would be an auto immune response whereas you produce antibodies against your own bodily tissues. Of particular interest this happens more often than not and can only be discovered through "functional Blood Chemistries" that look into this process and is huge step up and above the normal "run of the mill" blood chemistry testing. The medical profession  utilizes what is called pathological indices.

Let me explain this idea in very simple terms. Lets say the MD is testing a blood constituent that ranges from 15 to 65. So lets say yours comes back at 16 or even 64. That MD will tell you are healthy and every thing is ok. So if it comes back at 14 or 66 then they agree that you have something wrong. Natural healthcare providers like myself who practice functional blood chemistry strive to keep you in the middle of the range rather than just in the range.

Therefore to get to the bottom of your question a set of functional blood tests need to be performed to get to the root cause of the problem.

To address the MRI/Catscan issue you must realize that you are right that this is a great test to seek out and diagnose brain infarct ( damage) that has a great difference between healthy and damaged brain tissue. You must also be aware of the fact that you can have a global brain damage such as in the case of a closed head injury and more significantly from a Blood Brain Barrier(BBB)issue such as leaky brain barrier syndrome that would give you a global damage that is very difficult to pick up with scans because the damage is so uniform it actually looks like normal brain tissue. So this is like an all over bruise rather than a succinct well described bruise that is in fact surrounded by normal healthy tissue.

I would put my money on functional blood chemistries to find the true cause of this inflammation. I also do believe that you donot just one dat wake up with full blown MS. I believe that the mechanisms described above occur over several months to years and can be arrested if caught in time. Notice I did not claim to cure MS but if found in the beginning stages when it is only described as inflammation it can be stopped in it's tracks before is can become a full blown MS.

I hope this answers your question even though the mechanism of inflammation is not an event but a process.

Yours in Health,
Dr John Q Quackenbush
