Sometimes it begins in my toes and works gradually to the ball of my feet lasts about 8hrs The pain drives me to tears.I've taken alleve to lessen the pain however lately it's been happening more frequently(3 days in a row)As a flight attendant I am on my feet a lot. I appreciate any advice you may have. Thank you very much

Answer
Bobby,

You could have anything from a bunion to a plantars wart to plantar fascitis to joint-ligament inflammation to "mortons neuroma."   Bottom line:  see a foot doctor (podiatrist) and get your foot diagnosed.   After it's diagnosed, if treatment doesn't work, then we can talk.
