Numbness and tingling in back

Question
For the past couple of months I have been getting a numb and tingling feeling in my mid to upper right side of my back on and off but the last few weeks it has become constant and I have lost some feeling in that area (can't feel it when pinched) I was wondering whether this could be anything serious? I also had a baby 6 months ago and had an epidural and wondered whether it may be down to that, although it is no where near place where my epidural was.

Answer
You most likely have a pinched sensory nerve in the upper back. Carry your newborn could aggravate this condition. It has nothing to do with your epidural, especially Because that was done in the lumbar spine (lower back).
The spinal bones can move out of proper position causing a pinched sensory nerve. You can have a bunch of test run on you, but you will still need treatment to fix the problem. Medication is dangerous , especially if you are breast feeding. I recommend seeing a chiropractor for 4-8 weeks and it should resolve the problem. Good luck!!
