i have pulled a muscle in right side of neck which pain goes all down forarm sometimes to wrist most pain on outside of arm above elbow having hard time holding head up straight without pain.its been 8 days i've been on vacation so i've been beating it up in stead of resting it.pain is sometimes cripiling aleave,ipreprofin.icy hot nothing helps.im 41 6/4in. 290lbs trying not to see doctor $$$$.this has beeh happening for months when i lay in bed on computer the wrong way i agervate my sholder and neck this time is the worst PLEASE HELP.

Sounds like you have a muscle spasm.  No fun, but not dangerous.

Get on the 'net and locate a practitioner of clinical somatic education nearby.  See hannasomatics.com/practitioners

You can try lying on your left side and doing something to get some control of the muscles of the right side of your neck:  With your head on a pillow, shrug your shoulder toward the tightest place and lift your head toward the shoulder.  Lower your head while keeping your shoulder as close as possible to the tight place; relax your neck, and then your shoulder, last.   Repeat until the spasms dissipates.

This will either produce results quickly or not at all.  That's my best advice for quick help.  Get with a practitioner.
