Question
I have spinal curviture in my upper and lower back resulting in an "s" shape.  I am eighteen years old, and started seeing a chiropractor for my back pains.  He supprised me by taking the x-rays of my back (this is how I found out about my skulliousous).  He says that my spine is not degenerating and that it should help.  I need to know is it a high percentage rate of success for healthy people in my age group?  Am I in good hands?

Answer
a person with a scoliosis with it's cause still intact, usually nerve interference, certainly is not healthy, no matter wether they have developed additional symptoms yet or not. though evidence on x-ray may not show conspicuous degenerative change yet, it is , however slowly, ongoing. are you in good hands? if the nerve interference which is the likely cause of your scoliosis is being corrected, yes. the cause of nerve interference is in the upper neck, and requires precise correction through very specific adjustment and checking procedures. if you are unsure you are receiving the care i have described and wish to investigate it further, i recommend you consult an hio method chiropractor.
