Question
will visiting a chiropractor relieve stress and possibly help reduce the probability of migraine headaches and nausea.MRI's have been negative.

Answer
Chiropractic often (not always) helps migraine headaches.  There are different causes of migraines, including dietary imbalance and allergies, but nerve irritation in the upper neck caused by restricted movement of spinal joints is often a significant factor.  Research has shown that chiropractic can help migraines, even in someone who has been suffering for many years.

Initial treatment may require visits up to 2 or 3 times weekly for the first month.  You should feel definite improvement within the first 8 to 10 visits.  If you do, further treatment at reduced frequency will likely be needed for lasting results.  And hopefully the chiropractor will also discuss nutrition and posture--two big factors which you can work on.
