Question
This is probably a dumb question, but I thought I read in a chiropractic book that I checked out in a library that innate intelligence is the body's ability to heal itself, is this true?

Answer
No question is a dumb question! I'm excited that you are interested in this topic.

Yes, essentially innate intelligence is the body's ability to heal itself. Innate means present at birth, or something that you know or are able to do that wasn't taught or conditioned. Innate, inborn, automatic intelligence and ability of the body to take care of itself...it's what makes certain mechanisms in the body kick into gear to keep it alive; everything from platelets getting sticky to form a blood clot, to your 'fight or flight' reaction to a scary or life-threatening situation. Pretty cool, huh?!?!!

Any more questions about innate or chiropractic? Are you thinking about choosing this as a profession, or just interested in it? If there's any more questions or any way I can help you, you can email me through this site or at [email protected]. Have a great and healthy day!
