Question
Went to a chiropractor, he gave lower electrical shock treatment to lower back, 15 min once a week. About a year later the blood to about 27 in of large intestine quite suppling blood a surgery was performed removing this area.  Is there any relationship to electrical shock and blood supply.

Answer
Dear James,

Thank you for your question.

Because of the complexities of human function, it is impossible to tell you in this kind of format whether there is a realtonship between the circumstances you describe.  Certainly, the living body reacts to its surroundings at all times and is affected by the environment, whether that be naturally occurring or man-made, such as an electrical shock.  On top of that, there is the matter of whether therapeutic modalities have been properly and responsibly applied.  As you can see, narrowing it all down when there are so many factors can be quite difficult.

Generally, this type of question is best answered in-person than by e-mail or internet.  Anyone who is willing to give you a specific answer to something like this by way of correspondence is making a guess, at best.

I wish you the best in gathering information on this.

Sincerely,
James W. Healey, DC
