Question
Hi.  I am a court reporter and I usually, by experience and using the internet am able to figure these tests out, but I did this over the phone and there was background noise.  The few I'm having trouble with are something that sounds like Maclefts, Mary Boeings and Monell's and grueling tests. I figured out the other 5 mentioned.  Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

Answer
Dear Carol,

Thank you for your question.

Medical testing is not uncommon in one of the branches of chiropractic, that of therapeutic mixing chiropractic.  While this branch is not my chosen area of expertise, I do have familiarity with terminology and still may be able to help you.

Without the opportunity to hear them for myself, it may be that the following are what you are hearing on your tape:

Macleffs = Nachlas
Mary Boeings = Neri's Bowing
Monell's = Tinell's
Grueling = Grower's sign

Sincerely,
James W. Healey, D.C.
