Question
gotta problem, i was asked to pop someones back by walking on their back and hoping up and down until their back was popped.  Now, this happened before and he felt pretty relieved however today i couldn't pop anything and now he has pains which he says is not normal....organ pains..he lays down...it hurts...what can i do to relieve this pain before he goes to be checked by a doctor there should be some type of pressure points to relieve the stress?

Answer
Hello Oni,

The spine houses the spinal cord which branches off on each side of the spine as nerve roots.  These nerve roots innervate everything in your body (including your organs).  Walking on someones back can move the spine in the wrong direction causing a pinched nerve.  If the nerve is irritated it may cause irritation to any part of the body it goes to.  Doctor's of Chiropractic specialize in the biomechanics of the spine and all joints of the body, also the only doctors in the world who are licensed to adjust.  You may want to recommend this person to a chiropractor for a exam to determine what the exact cause or condition.

Have a great day,
Dr. Brendon O'Brien D.C.
