People in the older ages suffer from this disease are more common as compared to younger people. They should follow a vegetarian diet and should minimize the intake of dairy products, salt and sugar to avoid the pain.
The citrus fruits like oranges, mausami, and green leafy vegetable etc.should are taken. There is lot of products available for the treatment of the joint pain but they contain unknown compounds so you should choose a safe product by consulting a doctor. The treatment should be such as that can heal the inflammation of the body actually and not give temporary relief that can be achieved by taking some pain killers. By treating the inflammation you can got the permanent relief.
