Back Problems - Back Pain And Being Overweight

The people are already suffering from back pain, should never leave the bad effect of their office chair which may be causing problem to some extant. The office chair may not be helping their back problem at all. In fact a low quality chair can actually be causing more damage or injury to the back. Office chairs can cause an increase in pain in the back, neck, arms and shoulders. As a matter of fact the way some office chairs are constructed, they can add extra pressure to an already aching back, and add extra stress to the spinal discs.

However, back pain is indeed a common condition that happens to most of the working adults, but most of them do not know about it is that it could be a symptom of a far more serious back disorder. In fact, most of the chronic forms of back pain that are lasting for more than two months, actually symptoms of serious diseases, such as arthritis, scoliosis, osteoporosis, cervical spondylosis, bone cancer, spinal cancer, ulcerative colitis, Crone's disease, mittelschmerz, cervix cancer, tuberculosis, meningitis, among others. Also overweight of the body can cause back pain.

Because of gravity, blood of the body tends to come towards lower proximity, leaving the heart to work harder. Even sitting for long periods in a same place can lead to back pain and weight gain. Sitting in the wrong position for long period of time with the neck turned up or turned down can be the cause of cervical spine soreness or various other problems. Exercise alone will not get people from a size 14 to a size 10. Regulating and changing the diet is also an essential part of any weight loss program. Common sense dictates that the fewer calories people take in and the more calories they burn will result in weight loss. While Yoga will help to tone the body and change its physiology, people will not see the true benefits of it if they eat an entire chocolate cake after their workout.

Yoga or even meditation releases the unlimited power of the subconscious health and mind. It enhances the inner as well as outer beauty of a person. An eternal healthy body and mind can be achieved by daily practice of meditation. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is not just disagreeable which can also lead to enormous health damage and back pain as well. Irritable Bowel Syndrome might lead to weight imbalance and obesity or malnutrition. It will raise harmful substances within the body. This syndrome also harms the beauty of the hair and skin. To have a beautiful body and superior life, people must first take care of their gastrointestinal health. Forward bend yoga poses spread out back muscles and hamstring muscles by stretching and strengthening them.

Besides back pain, with overweight other health problems also come. Some of the more dangerous ones are hypertension and diabetes. Practicing yoga can really help people to lose weight and have a fitter healthier body. Yoga helps people to put their mind in control; it helps them to have strength to do the right thing at the right time.
