The Calcium Supplements May Contribute To Risks of Heart Attacks
The calcium supplements are no doubt one of the most healthful ingredients for the perfect bones and teeth.

A recent study has shown many surprising results and according to that the calcium supplement was linked to a higher risk of heart attack and other cardio vascular events.

In this research the international team of researchers reviewed the data from several trials and the report was published in the online journal of BMJ on 29th July. The research was lead by Dr Ian Reid, a professor of Medicine at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and colleagues from the University of Aberdeen in the UK and Dartmouth Medical School in the US.

Osteoporosis is a very common problem in old people and for that they take the calcium supplements as according to medical experts the lack of calcium may lead to fractures but now another risk has been found by this study that the calcium supplement carries between 27 and 31 percent chances of heart attack.

The researchers found 15 trials that matched this criteria and according to that 5 had patient-level data covering over 8,000 participants over a median follow-up of 3.6 years, and 11 had trial-level data covering nearly 12,000 participants and a mean duration of 4 years.

Thus we can see that this solution of Osteoporosis carries other dangerous side effects so some other solution should be considered for this case.
