However there are 3 simple ways you can get relief from back pain in the privacy of your own home. They take minimal time and effort and best of all are free. Something that for many is surprising in itself.

The first is being active, which doesn't mean running a marathon or joining a gym. Going for a good long walk will help your back pain as joints and muscles move as you move. A gentle walk has been known for many years to be one of the best ways to relieve back pain.

Simply hold your arms out wide and slowly turn as far as you can, then simply turn in the opposite direction. Repeat this for two or three minutes and this will loosen up your spine - make sure you don't turn too far though and cause any pain.

This simple stretch will actually help the entire spine. Use it when you wake in the morning and again before you go to bed and if back pain is minor, this alone can help cure back pain quickly.

Assessing the imbalances in your spine is the final thing to do. Knowing exactly what is causing your pain is that final step but probably the most important step. This is also a very simple process once you know what to look for.

Once you know where the imbalances are you can target these areas more directly to get long lasting back pain relief. To cure back pain the first step is always finding the cause.
